Launch is a development program for early-stage technologies and innovations with exceptional commercial potential. Through competitively-awarded funding, business and commercialization services, and expert mentors, Launch works with researchers to develop projects that meet industry and commercial needs.

Started with $2 million in funding from the U.S. Economic Development Administration and NMSU, AIN got underway in late 2012 to support Launch and help to build a vibrant economy for southern New Mexico and west Texas. With partners across the region, AIN is using resources at NMSU to support invention, innovation, and entrepreneurism.
